Experienced instructors lead programs

Lessons are taught by USPTA-certified tennis professionals Brian Hornburg and Robert "Bob" Downey Jr. Both instructors bring more than 25 years of teaching experience and work with players of varying ages and ability levels.

"Whether someone is picking up a racquet for the first time or returning to the game after many years, our goal is to create a positive experience where every player can learn, improve, and enjoy the sport," said Sheila Counts, Tennis Center director. "We love seeing players of all ages build confidence, friendships and healthy habits on the court."

According to the announcement, the Oshkosh Community YMCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Community members can register for lessons by calling 920-236-3400 or by contacting the Tennis & Pickleball Center directly.
