Former Oak Ridge pitcher and Tennessee baseball signee Michael Teasley is withdrawing from the 2026 MLB Draft and will enroll at Tennessee after not getting picked in the first four rounds on July 11.
Teasley, who also plays third base and outfield, announced his decision in an Instagram post.
“First off I would like to think all of the MLB teams for the consideration but after conversations with my family and inner circle, I am withdrawing my name from the MLB draft,” Teasley wrote. “I am excited to hit the ground running at The University of Tennessee!”
