Game 2 of Tennessee's SEC baseball series against Oklahoma was suspended due to lightning in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area Friday.

The Vols (36-18, 14-14 SEC) are leading the Sooners (31-19, 13-15 SEC), 5-3, with Oklahoma batting in the seventh inning. There is one out and a runner on first base.

The contest will resume at 2 p.m. EDT at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Game 3 of the SEC series will be contested approximately 45 minutes following the completion of the suspended game. It will be a nine-inning contest.

Oklahoma led, 3-0, after the first inning. Camden Johnson hit a two-run home run.

The Vols scored four runs in the third inning. Manny Marin hit a RBI triple, Jay Abernathy Jr. hit a scoring single and Trent Grindlinger hit a two-run single. Tennessee scored one run in the fifth inning after Henry Ford reached on an error and Blake Grimmer scored on the play.
