Tipoff between Tennessee and the Cyclones is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. EDT at United Center in Chicago, Illinois. TBS/truTV will televise the matchup.
Ahead of Friday's basketball game, Iowa State has a 60.6 percent chance to defeat the Vols, according to ESPN's Matchup Predictor. Nolan Analytics projects the Cyclones to defeat Tennessee, 73-70.
Tennessee defeated No. 3 seed Virginia (30-6), 79-72, on Sunday in the NCAA Tournament second round. The Vols were also victorious in a first-round matchup against No. 11 seed Miami University (32-2), 78-56.
Both NCAA Tournament games were contested at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Rick Barnes is in his 11th season as Tennessee's head coach and has advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2019, 2023-26.
