Tennessee redshirt senior golfer Lance Simpson was named Third-Team All-American by Golfweek and the Golf Coaches Association of America. Both organizations announced their respective organizations All-American Teams on Wednesday.

Simpson ends his collegiate career by becoming the seventh individual in program history to earn multiple All-American honors, joining David Skinns, Jim Gallagher Jr. and Spencer Cross. He was also named an All-American Honorable Mention by both organizations in 2025. Simpson is the first Vols' golfer to earn an All-American distinction other than Honorable Mention since Caleb Surratt was named First-Team All-American in 2023.

Simpson finished his final college season with a 70.11 season scoring average, the third best mark in program history. Additionally, his career scoring average of 71.11 ranks third in program history. Simpson posted 26 rounds of par or better in 2025-26 season represents the second-highest tally in program history.

During his career, Simpson recorded 80 rounds of par or better, which also ranks second in program history. He also earned his first individual championship at the Pauma Valley Invitational, leading the Vols to the team title.

Simpson also posted Tennessee's best finish at the NCAA Championships since 2013 as he tied for eighth place with a score of 8-under. He also finished ranked No. 11 in the PGA TOUR University rankings, earning a membership on the PGA TOUR Americas through the end of the season.
