NFL free agency begins at noon this fine Monday, and attention, at least for the next 10-14 days, will solely be on the movement of veteran talent across the league. The NFL offseason is a funny thing, because most spend the first five-to-six weeks focused on the upcoming draft, and trying to put the cart before the horse.
There is so much homework to do on over 300 draft prospects, that projecting which players fit which teams is a natural progression. But mock drafts tend to match team needs to player skillsets and those needs are going to drastically alter over the next few weeks. Those teams that were seen as destinations for edge rushers or wideouts, might not have such a need after this week's signings and trades. But with one last swan song, we'll take a trip around the interwebs to see the names that have recently been attached to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys are one of a handful of teams with multiple first-round picks, a group that saw itself morph when the Los Angeles Rams traded for Chiefs corner Trent McDuffie, then grow when the Raiders traded Maxx Crosby to the Ravens.
Here, we'll round up a sample of respected draft names and see who they have shipped to the Cowboys at their two first-round selection spots. There's a consensus on positional needs, with the 14 selections covering just four positions: Cornerback, safety, Edge and linebacker.
There are also four players who had their names evoked multiple times.

Nate Davis, USA Today
Luke Easterling, Athlon Sports
Blake Krass, Draft Kings
