Tennessee's 2026 baseball season concluded May 30 in the NCAA Tournament Chapel Hill Regional. The NCAA transfer portal opened on Monday following the Vols' season.
Tennessee sophomore infielder Manny Marin is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to Mike Wilson of Volquest and On3.
"Manny Marin is not returning to Tennessee and is expected to enter the transfer portal, source tells Volquest," Wilson announced Friday. "Marin is also a draft-eligible sophomore who started at shortstop for Tennessee last season."
The 6-foot-1, 184-pound infielder appeared in 113 games, including 97 starts, from 2025-26 under head coaches Tony Vitello and Josh Elander at Tennessee. He recorded a .287 batting average, 12 home runs, 66 RBIs, 58 runs, 24 walks and seven stolen bases.
Marin is from Westminster Christian School in Palmetto Bay, Florida. He committed to to the Vols over Clemson and Miami.
