The first round of the 2026 SEC baseball tournament was contested Tuesday at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.

No. 10 seed Tennessee (38-19, 15-15 SEC) defeated No. 15 seed South Carolina (22-35, 7-23 SEC), 11-6, in the first round.

The Vols advanced to the second round and will face No. 7 seed Arkansas on Wednesday. First pitch between Tennessee and the Razorbacks is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. EDT.

Arkansas leads the all-time baseball series against the Vols, 46-29, dating to March 14, 1992. The first game in the series was contested in Seattle, Washington.

Tennessee has won five SEC Tournament championships in program history (1993-95, 2022, 2024). The Vols are 39-30 all time in SEC Tournament games.
