HOLT, Mi. (WLNS) – In the 21st season of Moneyball Pro-Am, Faygo takes home this season’s championship.

In the semifinal matchup, Team Faygo took down Team Motorcars 92-89 to advance to the Moneyball final, after a go-ahead three-pointer from incoming Michigan State freshman Jasiah Jervis with two seconds left in the game.

In the championship, Team Faygo took down Team LAFCU 74-72. Former Michigan State guard Tre Holloman knocked down two late free throws to put Faygo up two but LAFCU wasn’t able to win the game at the buzzer.

While he was super excited about the win, Michigan State rising sophomore Cam Ward said he was more than happy to play in the Moneyball Pro-Am as he has so much fun putting on a show for the fans.

“Some people come from Detroit every Tuesday and Thursday to watch us play, so I think we take it for granted how much these people care not just for us but it’s a whole thing,” explained Ward. “These people are very important and I think it’s just the best atmosphere to play in.”
