Tailgating Question

I am a season ticket holder and have my parking pass. I bought some friends some tickets through ticketmaster. At one game last year we caught some guff from a parking lot person about parking passes. Are they strict on making sure you have one?

This year is the worst I've seen it. They have people checking the passes. We grabbed the wrong pass and we had to talk to the guy for 2-3 minutes before he let us in. I had to show him my season ticket card before he let us in...and this was for the blue lot.

Parking is absolutely horrendous at UofP and I hope it changes soon

I am going to the Buffalo game with single game tickets and had to buy a Blue Pass on E-Bay.

If they are in your car should be no problemo.

We moved to the West Preferred this season and they are taking the detachable stub from the bottom of the pass as you enter the lot. They had never done this before in the East lot so it must be more strict this year.

They do check to make sure you have a pass, but you can have as many people as fit in your car. The pass is for the car, not the people. (it would be silly to limit the people per car.. everyone WANTS fewer cars per person).

Hopefully things work out for you but do the rest of us that park in W a favor and please don't be the clown that holds everyone else up in line. There is nothing more annoying than having to sit in the car and wait behind some idiot who thought he could just park wherever he wants with no pass and then tries to argue with the parking staff about it for 5 minutes only to be told to turn back around. You and/or your friends really don't want to be that guy.
