A fifth player from the 2025-26 Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team appears to be departing.

Guard Luke Fennell, a six-foot-six guard who played one year with the Orange, is entering the transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports.

Fennell played in 10 games for Syracuse, averaging 1.1 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 6.5 minutes per game. He last took the court for the Orange on January 27th, and only took 14 shots all season.

Syracuse has already secured two additions to its 2026-27 roster: former Siena guard Gavin Doty and Slovenian wing Mark Morano Mahmutovič.

We’ll keep you posted as more offseason news arrives.
