BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Sycamore Spartans paid a visit to Belvidere North Monday night, and they showed why they are now a 20-win team. They defeated the Blue Thunder 70-44.
Sycamore led throughout the game although North was able hang around generally trailing by ten points. That changed early in the fourth quarter when the Spartans blew the game wide open.
Isaiah Feuerbach led the Spartans with 22 points. Marcus Johnson scored 14 points and Aiden Mesenbrink scored 12.
Brayden Lewis led North in scoring with 10 points. Tyson Brannan scored nine and Noah Rooney 8.
Sycamore’s record improves to 20-5. Belvidere North’s record is 14-14. Watch the media player above for highlights.
