ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Junior Ava Galluzzo scored four consecutive goals leading Boylan to a 4-1 win against Guilford Thursday night.
Guilford scored first on a goal by Berkeley Stenstrom. It was Stenstrom’s 100th career goal, but the momentum quickly swung the other way. Galluzzo scored three of her goals in the first half for a 3-1 Boylan lead at the break. The fourth goal by Galluzzo was the only goal of the second half for either team.
Guilford finishes NIC-10 play with an 8-1 conference record. Good for second place behind 9-0 Belvidere North. Guilford finished third with a 7-2 conference record.
