I just heard the latest on Book is 4 to 6 weeks?! YIKES. He hasn't exactly been playing stellar but he draws constant double teams which frees up our shooters. This might be a brutal stretch.

wow that changes everything - need time to digest this
Keep in mind that was a National hosts comment and those guys get stuff wrong all the time. It might have been pure speculation based on previous injuries. I was channel surfing. I have not been listening to local today. Anybody heard anything along those lines local yet today? Because just yesterday I heard "day to day". I hate it when you hear conflicting stuff. I hope he is wrong and just speculating and it's just day to day or it's going to be brutal.

Where are you hearing that?
See above. I was channel surfing online between meetings. It may have been pure speculation. I was shocked to hear it but I may have heard it out of context. The last I heard locally was "day to day" as of yesterday which is why I was shocked to hear it. I have been in meetings all morning so I have not listened to local today. Hoping that it was pure speculation.

It's speculation. There is no mention of this anywhere on the internet right now.

Hmmm… Book becoming a little mid and missing a month per season (if that’s what this groin is) is gonna hurt with the size of that contract.

That said, I’m pretty curious to see how we function without him and would be even more curious to see how we’d do when/if Green slotted in there for Book. He’s prob still 3 weeks away from getting back on the court, right?

From Gerald Bourquet about Booker's injury timeline.

A 1-week re-evaluation timeline for Devin Booker would mean he’s likely out for (at least):-Friday @ Rockets-Monday @ Timberwolves-Wednesday @ Thunder (NBA Cup quarterfinals)Could’ve been a lot worse, both in terms of time and number of games he’ll miss
