Great game by all the Starters but Chris Paul yikes. Has he ever in his career had a game where he didn’t make a basket?

We won because we were disciplined on D, and Pistons didn't have clue how to break it. On offense we made great use of size advantage in the paint, and Paul directed offense every well despite his shooting being off. Great team win, with everybody playing his role well.

He tried 3 times more in the closing min to change that, in vain though. Smart he didn't force it early in the game. And more importantly, Paul were much more active on D than usual, maybe as compensation for knowing lack of shooting tcuch to contribute more on the off. end. He has +24 for the game.

You're going to ignore his 14 assists? Yeah, he didn't score but he set up Ayton play after play.

I wouldn't discount his 14 assists at all but Ayton going 13 for 15 helped make CP3 look pretty good too.

14 assist are good, but not getting a single basket in 33 minutes in an NBA is crazy for a player like Paul

Eh, I'm not too worried about it. He was mostly being a facilitator and then the few shots he took just didn't go in. Most of these attempts were in the 4th quarter. You play long enough and things like that are going to happen on occasion.

Yeah, that is Cam Johnson coming around the other side of the basket for the SLAM.

Cam has such deceptive athleticism.

Agree. Sometimes Cam Johnson does things that amaze me.

Although Saban Lee has not arrived, he has surprising athleticism and speed as well.

He was panned as being unathletic and just a shooter coming out of the draft. That hip surgery he had in college unleashed ability he did not have before.
