Not sure what people are expecting here. Their hands are pretty tied.Man...it's really quiet on the Suns front.

lot of our guys were on 1 year contracts - we can't trade green or brooks for like another 40ish days - i thought maybe greyson or richards but nahNot sure what people are expecting here. Their hands are pretty tied.
According to gambo dumping Beal and Richards maybe is all that is left, then signing one or two replacements. The Suns can still make trades.
They can also sign vet minimum players if they have room on the standard roster.
Also, they can sign two-way contract players. It's my understanding they still have two spots open.
The situation with Bradley Beal is still not clear.
Additionally, there is the summer league and G-League rosters to complete.
don't know how solid this is but if i were the lakers?
But according to sources, the Lakers are targeting three other centers instead of looking at Ayton as a solution to their problems. Summarized by ClutchPoints, the Lakers are looking at Nick Richards (Phoenix Suns), Yves Missi (New Orleans Pelicans), and Robert Williams (Portland Trail Blazers) as potential options to fill the starting center role.
Richards to the Lakers makes sense. I wonder if they have a couple of second round picks left.
The Lakers don't have a tradable 1st until 2031 or a tradable 2nd until 2032. I don't see them giving up a first, and 2032 is a long time to wait for a 2nd. Dalton Knecht is the only player and salary that would work, but I don't see them giving him up either.

The roster is a bit wonky, but it could work as is. Honestly I want Royce gone though, because he has no future with us.

Their situation with Beal is crystal clear. You just don’t want to accept the reality of it.
He’s got one of the most toxic deals in the league and most people don’t think he cares about playing all that much. So it’s 99.9% that he’s not going anywhere.
There isn’t a single logical reason why the Lakers would do that. There are people on X saying the lakers should trade Lebron for Beal.
Why would Lebron rather be on the Suns than the Lakers? I know his options to be traded are limited, but does anyone think the Suns with Lebron has a better chance of competing than the Lakers?
If they do it's a small difference, not enough that I would think he would want to do it, unless Luka being the leader is bugging him.
Why do they need to solve this problem? It's Ish's money; not mine. Well, it used to be mine before I got those two mortgages from his company. The Suns need to solve the second apron tax problem.
If the Suns can't move Beal, trading Allen might be the second-best option. He has the larger contract.

Stop it. Tone it down. You aren't saying anything new, which is par for the course for you.
Beal is on a toxic contract, point to the person who says he's not. They don't exist here. There is some debate on whether he should be sat entirely or bought out but literally no one claims he's a solution, as you suggest. There were rumors of him going to Chicago but there's no indication this chapter is behind us or anyone is ignoring anything. So what's being denied?
They might give up Knect. They were willing to give up him and more for Williams. The Lakers don't have a tradable 1st until 2031 or a tradable 2nd until 2032. I doubt it, but if so, we should make it a 3 team so we get picks instead of salary. They might give up Knect. They were willing to give up him and more for Williams.
Call me crazy but I think Beal in terms of production he can bring a team is pretty close to equal to Lebron at this point. If Lebron demands a trade it's a way for them to come out mostly even. There isn’t a single logical reason why the Lakers would do that.
I wouldn't mind Knect. I think he has some potential, and we could still use a forward.I doubt it, but it so, we should make it a 3 team so we get picks instead of salary.
Who is the guy available out there that we have a chance at still, that is better than Grayson Allen - or worth 5 years of 20 million of dead cap. I don't think that person exists, because even if the player exists, we would be about 10th choice at best for that player.Among the penalties of a second apron team, it limits Suns free agency signings to the vet minimum, they can't aggregate players in trade, even eventually moving future first round draft picks to the end of the first round.
Stop it. Tone it down.
I used to think you were just an algorithm that posted articles.
Not so much expecting. More like hoping.....like getting rid of Beal. Not sure what people are expecting here. Their hands are pretty tied.
