The Suns finish their two game road trip on Saturday by playing at the Grizzlies. This will be the second night of back-to-back games.

Suns are now 18-10 after beating the Pelicans on Friday 132-114.

Grizzlies are 13-12 winning their last two games against the Thunder and Pistons.

After the Memphis game the Suns return home to play an all important game with the Trail Blazers on Monday.

Suns and Trail Blazers are tied for the fourth spot in the West with identical 18-10 records.

The Grizzlies game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

Jaren Jackson Jr. has been out for awhile.

Kyle Anderson, Dillon Brooks, Grayson Allen and Brandon Clarke are significant losses for the Grizzlies.

We already lost to their MASH unit once. Gotta take care of business this time.

Xavier Tillman, center, caused problems for the Suns the last meeting.

They have Valanciunas this time around as well. This will be a challenge for the Suns upfront.

Clarke, Allen and Anderson played a significant role in the Suns loss but they will not be present.

I think I remember Brooks playing really well against us too.

they’re still formidable. They’ve been keeping their heads above water all season with a rash of injuries and Covid stuff. But we owe them. Totally blew the game late in the fourth last time we played there.

we did a good job of goosing our record by beating the East on that last hone-stand. Now we gotta do the same to the teams we’re gonna be fighting out playoff seeding.

Yeah, no excuses.

The last meeting the Suns started Cam Johnson although Frank Kaminsky had a solid game off the bench.

Grayson Allen was a real pest.

Devin Booker only had 12 points on 5-21 shooting. Crowder didn't do a lot either.

Small ball is fine in stretches but with the NBA trending big again, the importance of a traditional power is magnified.

The Suns didn't address the need for a more traditional power forward in the off season. They were very lucky to add Kaminsky who has served in this role.

Saric can play this role in stretches as well but the Suns should keep an eye out for another waived big man.

Yeah but that was during that stretch when we lost 6 of 8, hopefully we aren't that same team anymore. Back then, Paul hadn't yet turned it on, Booker was really struggling, Payne was playing injured and Saric was still dead.

Yes, the Suns were struggling back then and were coming off three postponed games when they faced the Grizzlies.

With the Grizzlies shorthanded but their starting five solid, the Suns bench should be key in regard to getting a win.

Looks like there is snow on the ground in Memphis in a brief look around.

Tyus Jones has turned into a nice backup point guard. Suns bench is in the game except for Booker.

Suns leading 23-15.
