I don't see Koa beating out Miles for the 4 spot for a year or two but if something falls through with Bridges, I don't see any other power forward on our roster that I'd start over Koa. Too bad they can't be on the court at the same time but, outside shooting notwithstanding, their games are probably too similar to share much court time.

I can't either, but I can see spot situations in small ball lineups where one of them plays at center.

When the Suns want to get quick and rough, matching another team's physicality, I can see it happening.

I can see the Suns looking at signing Koa Peat to a similar contract as Isaiah Evans.

First round picks are slotted and he already signed his deal.
I don't know if I am confusing this with the NFL, but if you draft a guy in the first round, don't you get an extra year of control on that player?

In essence, it may have been the reason we took Koa at the end of round 1, over the beginning of round 2?

NFL 1st round picks get 4 years guaranteed and a 5th year team option, 2nd round picks don't have the 5th year option and guarantees can vary. NBA first round picks get 2 guaranteed years that are slotted with team options on years 3 and 4 then the RFA year. NBA really doesn't have any slotting or structure for 2nd round picks, so it can really be anything as long as it doesn't exceed 4 years.
