i'm expecting (not hoping) maluach to average a double double on the nights mark williams is off

i'm expecting (not hoping) maluach to take oso's spot before the year is out - oso may have to point-forward after that

For a young guy who is still learning the game, he's good a little of that compete in him. He's not afraid to mix it up, wants to block you shot, wants to dunk in you and physicality doesn't bother him

i can't quit geeking out on maluach today - i tried writing about rasheer but it turned into maluach - so i started writing about the new front court as a whole and it turned into maluach

we're gonna turn to maluach a lot this year because i don't care what it looks like - a double double is a double double

a 7'2" center with a legit 3 ball doesn't come around often - many teams have never had the pleasure

most 7'2" centers come with tons of clumsiness - they have no handles and are slower than my ex wife

but everything hinges on whether or not maluach can grasp ott's defense - that's it - the whole kit and caboodle

khaman appears to be a natural born leader on the court - he's definitely the loudest - thing is ott loves oso because oso is oso dependable

bo knows football - bo knows baseball - but it's oso who knows jordan ott basketball

khaman maluach made a lot of mistakes in the post season - there's still no way to tell if he's learned from those mistakes - not by watching summer league

so there will be a reason to maluwatch the preseason - can teams still suck him in and catch him slippin - can he be where he's supposed to be and rotate on time

i think so - if you tell khaman he didn't drain any 3s in the first half he'll come out and drain 3 in a row - if you tell khaman he had a good game but also had 7 turnovers - he'll come out and give you the same performance but with zero turnovers

the pattern says the kid can focus - he has all the post season tape from just last year - i hope he's watching as much of oso as he is himself

i can't help it - it's not the weed - it's not hopium - it's not because america got eliminated from the world cup - i'm gonna stop but best believe i could keep going lol

all depends on where he is defensively tho - like metallica says - nothing else matters

So it seems people are now starting to understand why I didn't want to resign Williams now. Malauch if he isn't already better, is damn close, and needs the minutes to continue improving.
Not sure what you are worried about with his defense - are you talking about his ability to play on the perimeter, because in the paint I already think he is excellent for his age.

I might be in the minority but I think overall I like Oso more than Williams against most matchups - not ones with really big guys though. I really think our best move is trade Williams ASAP for several reasons. One I don't trust him to stay healthy at all, but second I just think he's worse than our other two options.

If anything Maluach has underperformed my expectations for him, and Rasheer has way underperformed - I haven't seen anything new from him in these 2 games.

Williams will start at the beginning of the year. Maluach is getting closer, but not quite there yet. However, there is nothing about Williams contract that screams that he has to start. If Maluach gets the nod, Williams can back him up or be a quality trade piece. It's a win-win. You can't let assets walk when you don't have picks, and Williams under his present contract is an asset.
