nobody drafted a center for the first 9 picks of an nba draft - i didn't understand it then and still don't today - especially with maluach being right there for the taking - we got incredibly lucky
I grew up watching basketball in the sixties. I can't even imagine how the game has changed since then.

He needs to keep building strength and work on his fundamentals. He will have a bigger role next year.

I was hoping Fleming would get more minutes to close the season since we need size and defense. Ott that it has not happened.

Agree with both sentiments. Year two for both should be way more minutes.

Do we have a draft pick this year?
I saw this on Fanspo:

"WAS will receive the more favorable of its 2026 1st round pick protected for selections 9-30 and PHX's 2026 1st round pick
Also, a second round pick. "

On RealGM:

"More favorable of PHX and WAS 1-8 to WAS [or neither to WAS if WAS not conveyable];
two most favorable of (i) less favorable of PHX and WAS 1-8
[or (ii) PHX if WAS not conveyable], (ii) MEM and (iii) ORL to MEM then least favorable of all to CHA
(via WAS swap for PHX; via MEM swap of ORL for PHX or WAS; via MEM swap for PHX, WAS or ORL; via PHX to CHA)

no mention of second round pick."

Finally, ESPN:

"The Phoenix Suns have no picks for the 2026 NBA draft."

I do know as of right now, we have a 2027 unprotected pick, our own, and it is unfrozen as of now.

Charlotte has the first round pick.
So I assume the pick was traded by WAS, but then the swaps all go away? The NBA needs to get rid of these swaps. It makes things too difficult for the fans, or AI, to figure out.

Ha Ha, Reda the draft comparison for

Baba Miller (Cincinnati, Senior, PF/C)

NBA Comparisons

Jared Jeffries, Leonard Miller, Nerlens Noel, Oso Ighodaro if he could hit free throws and rebound

LMAO!

Thanks for sharing. So we have to target the best team here, probably Charlotte or Orlando, and we'll get their spot in the first round? Good thing we made the playin. Hope that excludes us from the lottery.

He is better than Oso simply by having a normal shot than the ugly push shot. But without a 3pt shot, he's a long shot to establish himself in NBA.
