Payne has played himself onto the roster next season. Nice late addition by JJ

What's hilarious is the faces of the Clipper e-fans in the background as Book is taking his shot! :biglaugh:
Dumb question: Are those live fans being streamed through Zoom or something?

Wow, I didn't watch this live, thinking we'd get beat. Figured I'd watch it late in the evening, so if it starts to look like a slaughter, I can just turn it off and go to bed. I did not expect this. Holy crap, that was an amazing game. EVERYONE contributed something, and Booker was just amazing. Go Suns!

Yes. I saw a thing on ESPN about it the other day. If you watch closely you'll see a good amount of former players. It's mostly media people, former players, various team staff, and players family members. There are roughly 300 new people each game though.

It may be Memphis the Suns are chasing. They are only 1.5 up on Portland, have lost all of their games in the bubble so far, and just lost Jaren Jackson for the season.

It could well be. Too bad about Jaren Jackson's injury.

Now I'm worried about the Pacers and Warren.

We got them next? This cpould be fun!

The Pacers have a good starting lineup. It will be a tough game for sure.

Myles Turner may be a tough match-up for Ayton.

I imagine Bridges will be assigned to guard Warren.

I'm not worried about the Pacers, we know this isn't sustainable for TJ. We do know that this is sustainable for Booker, and defense for Bridges will be there. I think Ayton needs to step and show he can step up instead of playing scared, the gimme's are there for him in points and rebounds just because of his size and mobility but he needs to assert himself to get more instead of settling and letting the game come to him.

One thing I know from TJ, I have never seen an NBA player get hit in the head as much as he does, and have freak injuries. He is about due for one of those.

I agree, the Suns best chance at this point is to get ahead of Memphis the pelicans and the spurs.

With how portland is playing I don't think we can catch them.

Devin Booker: 35 points (13-25), 4 rebounds, 8 assists and hits game winner.

Also Booker was 6-9 from 3-point range.

Bubble lessons:

1 - Rubio (when healthy) is still very effective.
2 - Saric losing weight is a completely different player.
3 - Cam clearly worked on his game during the break.
4 - Paying Oubre more than 15M per season would be a huge mistake. Pay a real PF instead.
5 - PAYING to get rid of TJ Warren was incredibly stupid.

Thanks. It's pretty cool, but weird at the same time. I dont think the Suns PR staff would want me on there for a variety of reasons.

Cool. What's your point?

Yeah, when he was scoring 15 points and putting up few numbers in other categories it was a concern. But this game is about putting the ball in the hoop and doing it efficiently, and when you are absolutely excelling in those two areas, the other concerns become insignificant.
