The Suns have a chance to win three in a row when they visit the Clippers tonight. Who would think the Suns would be winning games with their bench players.

Game time is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Arizona time and will be televised on FSAZ.

Here is more from the ESPN Preview.

The Suns (11-21) are getting minimal production from their starting five, but they still have managed a brief two-game winning streak thanks to an extremely effective bench. That minimal production was highlighted in a victory at Dallas on Monday when starters Tyler Ulis, Josh Jackson, Marquese Chriss and Tyson Chandler all were on the bench during the decisive final quarter.

For the Clippers (11-18), issues with their starters are primarily health-related. All-Star forward Blake Griffin figures to be out for at least another month with a sprained left knee. Fellow starting forward Danilo Gallinari has missed all but two games since Nov. 5 with two separate glute injuries. Point guard Patrick Beverley is already lost for the season after knee surgery.

Ulis is starting again tonight. The same with Chriss.

Also Warren, Chandler and Jackson.

Suns down by 8 at the end of the 1st quarter. 15 points is their low for the season in the 1st quarter. What's with the starting unit? The combination, game after game, is not working.

Bendee blocked on a layup. I’m losing hope. That’s gotta be a dunk.

At about the 10-minute mark of the 4th quarter, I just saw Warren standing the court YAWNING. As we were letting a 12-point or so lead back up to 20.

Our back-to-back are today and tomorrow, not yesterday and today.

YAWNING??? Hey, Suns. We're sitting right here, y'know? We see you.

Unbelievable! Chickensh*t. Amateur. Spoiled.

And it all rolls downhill.

Before I retired, I used to but my butt for $50,000 a year. And these clowns are yawning while earning millions.

Maybe Warren got tired counting his millions.

Jackson oozes talent. The block and the layup just now. So athletic. Just needs game to come to him.

Probably.

Man does Mike James suck.

And why didn’t chriss drive that hard? He’s a bust.
It starts at the top, Ouchie. If the whole team is a step behind and a dollar short . . .

Hey, have a good night, guys.

Things are tightening up in the race for the pingpong balls... bottom 6 teams in the W are all within 3 games in the W column & bottom 5 in E. are within 4 in W column. Chi and Sac have been showing signs of life but the Griz are showing their ability to tank.

The suns are still in the hunt and there is a long season left. Should be interesting down the stretch. At least Chicago and Dallas aren't running away with it like it looked early on.
