Sounds like this was not possible; trade had to be accepted as-is or rejected, can't modify past the trade deadline.

I would like to know what was going on behind the scene based on the tweets I have read.

Kevin Durant is addressing all things with him, saying "the organization got to do what it got to do" in talking about Phoenix Suns and trade talks. When asked about being through this, he said, "I haven't been through this."

When is our last game before the break and the first game after it? I will get withdrawel symptoms without a steady dose of Suns basketball. Not looking forward to it.

We play tomorrow vs the Grizzlies in Phoenix and Wednesday vs Rockets in Houston. No games until next Thursday in San Antonio.

Mike Budenholzer on Bradley Beal (left great toe soreness): “He did not practice today. I think it’s going to take him a little bit more time.”Beal has missed Phoenix's last two games.

We blew our chance to trade KD at peak value. I’m over it. Just get what you can in the offseason and get a 26’ pick. Trade Grayson before the draft.

Right now we’re picking 29 and 55.
I don't think is value changes (barring an injury) by end of season. By the sounds of it, a bunch of teams called. I think they move him after the season and likely get more for him than teams looking for a desperate mid-season discount trade.

Grayson's conditioning has gone to hell. He hits a huge 3 to help beat Utah and missed the next game, which was a back to back and would be reasonable if we weren't short handed already. He's had 3 full days off and he's hopeful for Tuesday?

Whoever said we need to shop him during the draft is right. The Suns should have been able to find a good trade involving him prior to the deadline. Almost every team is in the market for veteran shooters who can play 20-30 minutes but Grayson's health this season combined with our lazy GM and it's not that surprising a deal couldn't be found. He has value but he's our 5th wing on the depth chart and makes too much to keep around when there are other holes on the roster.

Monte has been bad at handling the ball, hope Micic offers better PG plays there. Oso has been lost on the court. It's time to give his min to BOL and let him work on his game in the G-league.

Allen was out of shape at season's start. Now he's back in game condition and found his 3pt touch. If he could improve on his stamina, he is a keeper.

I think Nurkic can play much better than he showed. IMO, he came into camp too light. What went on behind the scene, who knows.

However, the Suns traded a starter at a position of need and attached a first round pick to do so. That's not good.
The problem with Nurkic's play this season had nothing to do with his weight. His issues were, in no particular order, the inability to finish around the basket, defending out on the perimeter, turning the ball over on offense, not being a threat offensively outside of 2 feet.

He was actually still great rebounding and defending the post, which is where you would expect the weight to be an issue.
