...Why don't NFL teams go out and get a really tall guy...like a 7 footer or taller and just have him block field goals? Think about it, the rule states you cannot get a running start and most of the time the ball is just over the tip of the outstretched hand of the defender. Wouldn't a really tall guy be worth 3-6 points a game and possibly an extra point?? I should be a general manager

You see!! He really, really needs the money too. I saw him on real sports and he is broke because he sent all his money to his country that is in a civil war.

Offensive linemen would break him in half. But also I always wondered how come in hockey they don't just get sumo wrestlers or some really fat guy to be goalie. If he covers up the goal then they should be OK, right?

I just think the conversations between Coach Mac and Manute Bol would be priceless.....they could have their own reality show.

I honestly think tha Shaq could also have a career as a DT or DE in the NFL. Look how big and naturally quick he is. Powerful too!

How would you stop him? Chop blocks arent allowed?

That question ranks with the one I always ask about why baseball teams don't keep 2 pitchers (a righty and lefty) in the game at the same time (the non-pitching pitcher probably at 1B) and then switch pitchers so that they can "lefty/righty" the other team to death during the game.

(I think the answer to both questions is: "You give up too much overall in order to possibly achieve one specialized objective."

There's a story in this month's Playboy about a baseball scout who finds a Navajo pitcher who can throw with speed and control right- or left-handed. ;)

There aren't that many pictures anymore, you've gotta do something with your time. ;)

He actually did go out for football when he was younger. He got hit and said, that's enough for me. He didn't mind doing the hitting, but he did not want to get hit a lot. So he went to basketbal...where he actually gets hit quite a bit, although it doesn't show as much because of his size.

I saw on ESPN a few months back that Manute Bol was playing either semi-pro or minor league ice hockey. I am not kidding. He looked way too funny on skates! LOL!
