Oshauna Holland now stands alone in NCHSAA high school basketball history books.
With a free throw to end the third quarter of her team’s NCHSAA 4A West third-round playoff matchup against Foard, the Stuart Cramer girls basketball standout set a new state all-time scoring mark.

ONE OF A KIND: Stuart Cramer basketball's Oshauna Holland joins 3,000-point club
She surpassed Clinton’s Danyel Parker, who has held the mark since the late 1980s. Parker, who later played for the late Kay Yow at NC State, finished with 3,225 points.
The only Gaston County girls basketball player in 5-on-5 competition with 3,000 career points, the Wake Forest women’s basketball signee is a 50% career shooter. She averages 27 poiints per game, along with 8.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 6.2 steals.
Holland was named to the Carolinas All-Star Classic on Monday, Feb. 23. The all-star game pitting high school basketball standouts from North and South Carolina is set for March 21 at Dorman High School in Spartanburg.
There remains one more hurdle for the Stuart Cramer standout to accomplish, however — a state championship. With more than 100 career wins on her resume, Holland and the Storm need three more to earn the program’s first NCHSAA crown.
