Stillman Valley girls start postseason play strong defeating Oregon by 21 points

WINNEBAGO, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Both Oregon and Stillman Valley won 18 games during the regular season, but in this game the scales tipped heavily in Stillman’s favor. The Cardinals ran away from Oregon 54-33 Monday night in a 2A regional semifinal game at Winnebago.

Junior post player Dailene Wade was high scorer for Stillman with 22 points. Sophomore Lillian Green was next with 12 points.

Senior Aniyah Sarver turned in a 13-point effort for Oregon. Sarah Eckardt was also in double figures.

Stillman Valley advances to the regional championship game at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bago against Winnebago.
