I've been around since 1991....I've seen the ups and I been the (many) downs. BA came in here with Me in and he changed the atmosphere, the aura, the way we did things. They're struggling right now to live up to expectations....but, no matter how bad they are, I'm tuning in each and every week to see them play and (hopefully) win.

only Cardinals fans could think two playoff appearances and one playoff win in the last three years is spoiled.

Seahawks fans are spoiled. Pats fans are spoiled. Packers fans are spoiled. Steelers fans, Broncos fans... those fans are spoiled. Getting to the playoffs a couple times in a row and expecting with everyone back to go back isn't spoiled. it's to be expected if you're an elite franchise.

we've made strides towards that, but we've still got a ways to go.

It's not being spoiled. It's watching insanity by BA. He keeps running out the same game plan and expects different results. He's showing his York Pa. roots by his actions. When teams take away what you want to do and you keep trying to do it anyway is just plain stubborn and ignorant. I think what disappoints us ad fans the most is the amount of talent on this offense and how poorly it's being utilized. Neither Arians nor Palmer have the patience to run a ball control offense which is what this team can actually do best. It's not BAs philosophy and he would rather sink the ship than change the offense and win some games. That's why he dumped Barkley, because Barkley made decisions at QB which frustrated BA becauseBarkley did not take shots down the field enough to his satisfaction. Very frustrating for this fan.

Last time I felt this disgusted with sports was early 90s Suns team collapses, but I was an early teen then. Now I have a 2 month old son at home and will choose to do things with my family instead of watching football on Sunday. Wife will be happy.

this year feels like the end of that Suns run, after the back to back Houston losses. We came into the next season with a steal in Finley from the draft and made the big Hot Rod Trade and then face planted with a 41-41 season that teased us with some big wins (beating the 72 win Bulls) along the way, but you just knew the team lost IT.

This team has definitely lost the IT they had the last three years.

I'm with you Mitch, when I moved to Wi people used to ask me when I would become a Packer fan. I stated proudly...NEVER, I'm a cardinal fan and one thing for sure nobody will ever call me a band wagon fan.

Same here. Been a fan since 1973 even after they left St. Louis. People tried to get me to follow the Rams during their heyday but I stayed loyal to the Big Red.

The new stadium has bought in a lot more fan support. Even with all the people who have moved here from somewhere else, this was a football town just waiting for something to cheer for.

It has not been an easy road being a Cardinals fan here but those of us who made it through the lean years are not going anywhere. And it is cool having you guys from other areas as fans. Go

I'm an out of state fan now, but I lived in PHX for 40 years, so I too lived through the SDS years and was there for every game. So I guess I don't count.

I certainly admire and give great respect to all of you SDS die hards...it was tough enough cheering for the team from afar, let alone frying like bacon like it sounds like you all were doing.

Same for myself. 29 years in the valley. A fan since year 1 in SDS. Those days toughen one up a bit.

In SoCal now. I like being part of a core fan base which remains humble regardless of progress or not on the field.

The difference for me this year is I don't think of the cards as here we go again, but why are we out of sync and when will it be back.

Past success helped with this mindset flaw.

We do count, as we could change teams based on geographics with absolutely no backlash. I earned my right to be a Arizona Cardinals fan for what's left of my life. Well that is until I retire to Washington
