I have no clue if Steve Nash is front office material. I think this is more of a PR move considering the struggles the team is about to face but I am fine with it. Having Nash even here, even if more of a PR stunt, is not necessarily a bad thing.

That’s all Ishbia did when he came along, pr moves. He blinded us with big moves, ring of honor celebrations, and free televised games.

I'm honestly surprised Nash's coaching career hasn't worked out (so far). He always seemed to me to have the acumen for that. I didn't follow him closely enough with the Nets to really have an idea if his failure there was due to shortcomings on his part or all the idiots on their roster.

I always thought he had GM qualities.

Nash to me was an instinct type player verses an X's an O's execution type player. He seemed to be at his best when improvising verses following set plays all the time. Maybe that's why it hasn't translated that well to coach so far. I would be shocked if he doesn't take another shot at it though.

His vision and IQ are just things that can't be taught on how he sees the game.

I wonder if Nash is one of the guys mending the relationships between the Suns and former players. Seeing all the ex-Suns at the opener was cool. It was always weird how Sarver turned a cold shoulder to even those who were here during his tenure. The Suns may not have banners but they do have a collection of legends here that helps them stand above other ring-less teams.
