Game 4 was an absolute nail-biter at the Chase Center. The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets took it down to the wire. The Warriors managed to squeeze out a tight 109-106 victory in the process.

This win gives the Warriors an important 3-1 stranglehold on the series. Golden State surely knows the job is not over from past experiences, but the positioning here is undoubtedly desirable.

There were several key performances that led to this win. Jimmy Butler was great. Brandin Podziemski stepped up. However, Draymond Green's impact should never be overlooked. His head coach knows just how reliable the defensive star is.

Kerr deliver massive statement about his four-time champion

Green's counting stats from this one are not eye-popping. The Warriors star finished with six points, eight rebounds, two assists, and five personal fouls. However, the win would not have been possible without him.

With the Warriors leading by just one point in the dying moments on the fourth quarter, Green delivered the game-deciding stop to lead the team to their third win of the series.

Steve Kerr knows his man is as reliable as they come in those moments. The Warriors head coach expressed that sentiment at the postgame press conference.

With the game on the line, Kerr was asked to scale, from one to 100, the confidence he has in Green securing a stop. The head coach did not hesitate.

"I feel like 100. He's the best defender I've ever seen in my life," Kerr confidently claimed.

The Warriors coach continued: "He rises to the occasion on top of being a great defender. He's an incredible competitor. ... I've seen it for 11 years, game on the line, Draymond making a stop, it's like having Steph Curry take the shot."

With the Warriors needing one more win to lock up a trip to the second round, Green will be looked to for some additional heroics in the coming game(s).
