Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was recently named as one of three nominees for the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award. According to SportsCenter, the award "is given to an athlete whose continuous, demonstrated leadership has created a measured positive impact on their community through sports."
The other two finalists for the award come from the NFL, Adam Thielen and Damar Hamlin. Thielen just finished his final NFL season, retiring this past January after 12 seasons between the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. As for Hamlin, he's played five NFL seasons, all for the Buffalo Bills.
The winner of the award will be revealed July 15 at the 2026 ESPY Awards.
