With less than a month before training camp, we are giving the Pittsburgh Steelers a very close look. New head coach Mike McCarthy has come in and made significant changes to both sides of the football but the biggest area of attention falls on offense. Under former head coach Mike Tomlin, the defense carried the team and he seemed largely indifferent to move the offense forward.

This season, that should change under McCarthy, who is something of an offensive guru. Here are our Top Five impact players on offense ranked for the upcoming season.

1 - C Zach Fazier

The Steelers have the NFL's richest tradition for elite centers and Frazier is the latest. He's the undisputed general of the offensive line and in just two seasons has already established himself as one of the best in the NFL. Frazier is the only returning starter who will be in the position he started at last season and having him on the field makes these massive changes much easier.

2- OT Troy Fautanu

After missing almost all of his rookie season with an injury, Fautanu settled in at right tackle in 2025 and immediately became the best offensive tackle the Steelers have had in a very long time. He earns a spot this high because he's now made a seamless transition to left tackle and looks poised for his first All-Pro honor.

3 - WR DK Metcalf

Despite his lack of overall production last season and frankly throughout his career, Metcalf is the best skill-position player on the Steelers. We hope that Metcalf's struggles last season was more a product of the coaching staff, scheme and lack of help and this season he can get his fourth 1,000-yard season.

4 - QB Aaron Rodgers

Pittsburgh is hopeful, like with Metcalf, that Rodgers will be much better this season under McCarthy and he won't just look like a 42-year-old quarterback at the end of his career. Rogers still has plenty of zip on his arm and should flourish if the offensive line plays well.

5 - RB Jaylen Warren

We continue to cling to the notion that Warren is the best running all-around running back on the roster. He's a powerful runner who plays heavier than his frame, offers real value as a receiver and is elite is pass protection.
