As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for their playoff game against the Houston Texans this Monday, a fifth-round rookie is debuting a new look.
At Thursday's practice, rookie defensive lineman Yahya Black was spotted with a new hairstyle, an all-gold look that perfectly represents the Steel City brand of football ahead of the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. (Footage made available courtesy of Mark Kaboly.)
Selected with the 164th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Black appeared in all 17 regular season games and made three starts as a rookie — recording 28 combined tackles and two forced fumbles in his debut season.
Black and the rest of the Steelers defense will look to wreak havoc on the C.J. Stroud-led Texans this Monday, with fans hopeful Pittsburgh can earn their first playoff win in almost a decade.
