Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Germie Bernard hasn’t been in the Steel City for long, but he knows a quality offense when he sees one.
On a new episode of The Big Time Talks! podcast, Bernard argued that the Steelers finally have the proper pieces on offense to compete in 2026.
“Man, I ain’t going to lie, we got a squad like our offense is crazy," Bernard said. "Like everybody know we got a good defense. But now we got the pieces that we need on the offense for us to thrive. And we have the you know for the offense to thrive.”
He isn’t lying, as the Steelers picked up veteran wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and running back Rico Dowdle, while also acquiring Bernard and standout guard Gennings Dunker in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Bernard is expected to play a big part in the offense he’s excited about, potentially earning the WR3 role if he can hold off Roman Wilson this summer.
