Steelers preseason schedule: All 3 games to be aired on NFL Network

NFL Network released their broadcast schedule for the preseason and it illustrates just how important this new-look Pittsburgh Steelers team is to the league. The Steelers have three games, two at home at Acrisure Stadium and one road tilt with the Buffalo Bills and all three of these games will be aired in prime time on the NFL Network.

Here's the Steelers full schedule:

Week 1: Thursday, Aug. 13 vs. Green Bay Packers (7:00 PM ET)Week 2: Friday, Aug. 21 vs. New York Jets (7:00 PM ET)Week 3: Thursday, Aug. 27 at Buffalo Bills (7:00 PM ET)

There are plenty of storylines to keep an eye on in these games which add a level of intrigue. Week One, welcoming the Packers to town is not by mistake. Head coach Mike McCarthy coached there for 13 seasons and Aaron Rodgers was his quarterback. Rodgers also played for the Jets, the Steelers Week Two opponent.

Pittsburgh reports to training camp in just two weeks and have their first preseason game in a month. And just one month after that, Pittsburgh kicks off the regular season at home against the Atlanta Falcons.
