The Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line suffered a major blow on Monday, as veteran Pro Bowl guard Isaac Seumalo found a new home in the NFC West.
On the first day of the legal tampering period, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported that the Arizona Cardinals are signing Seumalo to a three-year, $31.5 million deal.
Seumalo, who signed with the Steelers in 2023, was one of Pittsburgh's top offensive linemen over the past three seasons, giving up just five sacks and being named to his first Pro Bowl in that span.
It remains to be seen whether the Steelers will replace Seumalo in free agency, the 2026 NFL Draft, or perhaps with an in-house option like Spencer Anderson, but it's clear Pittsburgh isn't taking a modest approach this offseason after trading for wide receiver Michael Pittman and signing a top cornerback in Jamel Dean.
