The most respected coach for the Raiders the past few seasons has landed on his feet after the fallout in Las Vegas. Now former defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was named to the same position for the Pittsburgh Steelers under new head coach Mike McCarthy.

Graham joined the Raiders in 2022 under head coach Josh McDaniels. He was then retained as defensive coordinator by the next two Raiders coaches Antonio Pierce and Pete Carroll.

With Carroll fired after one season on the job, this time Graham is moving on. He joins the Steelers who just hired former longtime Cowboys and Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.

The Raiders have yet to name a new head coach. They are expected to interview Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak this weekend. If hired, he would take over the job after the Super Bowl a week from Sunday. Whether it's Kubiak or someone else, the Raiders new head coach figures to have a new staff, including new coordinators.
