With over 5,000 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns under his belt, it's no secret that Michael Pittman Jr. is quite good at catching footballs. What Pittman wants to keep a secret, however, is just how good the Pittsburgh Steelers' offense has looked so far in training camp.

Pittman will team up with DK Metcalf and Roman Wilson on a Steeler offense run by 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers, one of the sport's loudest but also smartest figures. The double-edged sword of Pittman and Metcalf will leave teams pulling their hair out when choosing which receiver to shadow.

Pittman has shared some positive feedback about his Steeler experiences thus far, and the chemistry will only grow until the team's Week 1 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

What did Michael Pittman say about the Steelers?​

After departing from Indianapolis in an offseason trade, Pittman has had some time to acclimate himself to his new Steel City surroundings. With training camp underway, the receiver has had ample time to work with his new quarterback in Rodgers, a man whose expertise he has been enthralled by.

“I always thought I knew football — until I met Aaron,” Pittman said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Pittman also enters a Pittsburgh squad that has some solid talent across their side of the line of scrimmage. The ex-Colt shared that his new team has two receivers who may need to be double-teamed by opponents, an extremely dangerous quality to have.

“If teams double-team him, Aaron can throw it to me,” said Pittman. “If teams double-team me, he can throw it to DK.”

The 6-foot-4 receiver truly believes this Pittsburgh squad can shock a lot of people this season, especially on the offensive side of the ball. According to Pittman, the team's multi-faceted approach is what may make it lethal this season.

“I think our offense can be special,” Pittman said. “I don’t want to give away any secrets, but I really like how diverse our offense can be.”
