Once again, the NFL schedule makers did the Pittsburgh Steelers no favors with the 2026 regular-season schedule. We've broken down every game and dug in on the numbers but sometimes you just have to follow your gut and our gut tells us these three games could be the ones that make or break the 2026 season for Pittsburgh.
When we heard the Steelers got a game in Paris and found out it was Week 7, we assumed this meant the team would have their bye in Week 8. But instead, the Steelers host the Browns, who are still searching for an identity on offense but have a downright nasty defense. This is a trap game after flying across the Atlantic.
Pittsburgh has a brutal two-game road stretch in Weeks 9 and 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles, respectively. That's why coming home after that stretch to go against the dangerous Denver Broncos is a dirty trick in the toughest stretch of the season.
This one makes the list for the simple reason it is the rematch from last season in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. The Texans blew out the Steelers last season and Pittsburgh is going to be looking for revenge at home.
