The Pitt Panthers saw their six-game winning streak come to a close over the weekend with a 79-72 loss to the Virginia Tech Hokies. The defeat dropped Pitt a game behind Virginia in the ACC standings, but the Panthers are still very much in the thick of the title race, but they have much less room for error now. The Panthers traveled to Atlanta back on January 14th and defeated the Yellow Jackets 71-60 behind a solid 21-point effort from Nike Sibande.
