(Apr. 11, 2003) - People attending tomorrow's
groundbreaking activities for the new multipurpose
stadium at 10 a.m. in Glendale will be directed to the
parking area south of the event site. Glendale Police
have requested that visitors exit the 101 at Camelback
Road and travel north on 91st Avenue to just north of
Bethany Home Road, where they will be directed into the
parking area.
A trolley will be available to shuttle people from the
lot to the event. There will also be a cart for
disabled visitors.
Complimentary water, soft drinks, and snacks will be
provided for visitors.
For general security, game-day stadium gate screening
will be in effect meaning that all bags will be subject
to search.
