ST. CLOUD — St. Cloud State volleyball coach Chad Braegelmann and the university have announced the team's 2026 schedule, which features 29 regular-season matches, including 11 at home.
The Huskies will begin the season at the UP North Tournament in Marquette, Michigan, on Aug. 27-28. The following weekend, the Huskies will travel to Miami Shores, Florida, for the Barry Invitational.
Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play will begin Sept. 11-12, with home matches against Augustana and Wayne State. The Huskies will then travel to Southwest Minnesota State and Sioux Falls on Sept. 18-19.
In the latter stages of the conference schedule, St. Cloud State will host Concordia-St. Paul in a nonconference matchup on Oct. 20. The final conference road trip will be to Wayne State and Augustana on Oct. 30-31, and the Huskies will close out the conference schedule at home against Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State on Nov. 6-7.
The NSIC Tournament will begin with quarterfinals at home sites on Nov. 10, with the semifinals and championship match taking place at the highest remaining seed on Nov. 13-14 or Nov. 14-15. The NCAA Central Region Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 19-22, with the NCAA Championships set for Dec. 3-5 in Kansas City, Missouri.

St. Cloud State will play seven matches against five teams that made the 2025 NCAA Division II Tournament: Barry, Concordia-St. Paul, Lubbock Christian, Lynn and Wayne State. The Huskies will also face teams that were ranked or receiving votes in the final Division II coaches poll: Concordia-St. Paul, Barry, Wayne State, Southwest Minnesota State, Lynn, Minnesota State and Sioux Falls.
St. Cloud State is coming off a 2025 season in which it advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 and finished the season ranked No. 5, tying the best-ever final ranking in program history. The Huskies won their fourth NSIC Tournament championship in the last five years and earned wins over 13 ranked opponents, including four against top five teams.
The Huskies return two AVCA second team All-Americans, three Central Region all-tournament team members, two AVCA and Division II Conference Commissioners Association all-Central Region performers, two All-NSIC first team selections and two NSIC all-tournament team picks.
St. Cloud State has advanced to the NCAA Tournament six straight seasons and were ranked inside the top 16 of the AVCA Poll every week and finished the season ranked No. 5 for the second straight season.
