PT awards program taking place Tuesday
We will celebrate Cass County’s best high school athletes from the 2025-26 school year on Tuesday when the Pharos-Tribune hosts the third annual Sports Awards ceremony McHale Auditorium at Logansport High School.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the ceremony starts at 6 p.m. Admission is free and all are invited to attend.
We will name a Player of the Year for each sport and we’ll have some additional awards including Athletes of the Year.
HNAC hands out baseball awards
The Hoosier North Athletic Conference has announced its all-conference baseball team.
Triton’s Drew Bingamon was named the HNAC MVP.
Triton won the league title with a 15-1 record, followed by Caston (13-3), North Miami (13-3), Winamac (9-7), Pioneer (7-9), North Judson (7-9), Culver (4-12), Oregon-Davis (4-12) and Argos (0-16).
Caston’s Gavin Mollenkopf, Parker Zimpleman and Logan Mollenkopf were named to the All-HNAC first team. London Herd and Eli Holloway were named to the honorable mention team.
Pioneer’s Lane Weldy was selected to the first team. Hunter Stover and Gabe Scott were named honorable mention.
Winamac’s Hutch Martin, Xavier Adriano and Cody Wheeler were first-team selections.
