Another wave of transfers are hitting the portal, with spring practice coming to a close, many now know where they stand on the depth chart and are seeking a change of scenery. The latest Spartan to enter the portal comes from the defensive side of the ball.

Linebacker Carter Enyard, a 6-foot-1, 225 pounder from St. Louis, Missouri, has entered the transfer portal after just one year in East Lansing. A former walk-on, Enyard chose the Spartans over scholarship offers from Kent State and UNLV, among others. Enyard ranked as a 3-star prospect.

In his one season in East Lansing, the linebacker did not get onto the field, which means he will have four years of eligibility remaining at his next stop.
