Southeastern PA Little League team advances in Mid-Atlantic Regionals

The Pennsylvania champions from West Chester advanced to the winners' bracket of the Little League Baseball Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament by defeating Delaware representative Naamans, 8-1, on Sunday.

East Side Little League of West Chester will next take on Washington DC (a 7-6 winner over Berlin, Maryland), Tuesday at 11 a.m., as the Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament continues in Bristol, Connecticut.

Delaware meets Maryland today at 11 a.m. in an elimination game.

The eventual Mid-Atlantic champion earns a berth in the Little League Baseball World Series 2026, which begins Aug. 19 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

When did Morrisville, Levittown win Little League World championship?​

International teams have won the majority of the Little League World Series titles in recent years, but two Bucks County teams hold the honor of keeping the crown in the United States. The 1955 Morrisville 12 year olds took the title and five years later in 1960, Levittown duplicated the feat.
