I believe this team was put together for some off-season charity events. Don't know how good they actually were though.
I remember the stories about this team back in the day...apparently, kicker Jim Bakken (#25 in the back row, for you young'ns) was the team's captain and point guard. The guy was a great kicker, but was also a good athlete in his time. Used to take BP with the baseball Cards and heard he could really hold his own.
Lots of Cardinal greats here, including Jim Hart, Roger Wehrli, Mel Gray and Dan Dierdorf.
