And how many quarterbacks can take the pounding the Carson does and keeps getting back up? No line, no time, no way.

The line sucks but there's a lot of terrible OL in this league. Palmer is probably the least mobile QB in the league besides Phil Rivers.

Keep him for another year and draft a QB.

Draft more than one QB and hope that one of them pans out. Drew Stanton has proven he cannot even be a decent backup. A decent backup QB wins the Rams game for us this season.

No

And are you on drugs in the last two?

If you think Palmer is a better QB than cousins who is a full career younger than you are the one on drugs. You back up the brinks truck for cousins and make him the franchise.

Matt Moore didn't have a problem holding onto the ball to make a throw

Matt Moore didn't have the entire defensive line in his face all day long either. And Tannahill put the ball in the ground too. We just couldn't get to it. This loss is not on Palmer. Missing 2 XP's with one being returned for 2 points, missing a FG, and overall shoddy ST play cost the game.

Cousins or Romo might be the only comparable options on the market.

Romo is the same age as Palmer and is more likely to get hurt playing behind our line. Can't believe his name keeps coming up.

Cousins is 9 years younger and much tougher.

They both have warts. My point is that they are the only two real options other than Palmer at this point.

Just find someone who can beat Seattle. Rams and 9ers are worse than the Cards

And if you think Counsins will be available, you're on drugs

What would make him unavailable? Another franchise tag? Washington isn't paying that fee. If they don't extend him he will hit the market. Even if he his tagged I'd pay the draft pick fee.

Cousins will be a Redskin next year, be it an extension or another tag.

It's going to cost $20+ million to get Cousins if the Deadskins franchise him. Are you willing to tie up that kind of scratch knowing all the holes we need to fix?

Our OL is a untalented mash unit and Arians runs an offense where the QB is going to get hit a lot to begin with even with adequate protection. The OL and Special Teams is why this team is in a world of hurt, not Palmer by a long shot and he should get a Purple Heart

I think what we saw of Cousins when we played him is the max of what he will ever be, he is not that great. I would rather draft a young guy or even go with Glennon than settle for Cousins and paying a load of money to him... now Stafford I would :)

Right
Is the right time to.invest a high pick in a qb, someone to grow and ready to start in 2018

Dont get the glennon love, he did almost nothing, yes has some good stats, but few starts and few victories

First person I've read here who actually understands BA's offense.

Who you gonna replace him with?

This is such an empty threat. He's the best we got, so youre stuck with him. Deal with it.
