The Nebraska men's basketball team fell 74-58 to the Purdue Boilermakers in the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten Tournament on Friday evening. The Huskers are now 6-14 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament.
Fletcher Loyer led the way for the Boilermakers. He had 19 points and 4 rebounds in the victory. Pryce Sandfort was Nebraska's scoring leader with 15 points and 4 rebounds while shooting 6-of-14 from the field and 3-of-8 from the 3-point line.
The Husker defense struggled, surrendering 17 points off 9 turnovers. Purdue shot 45% from the field and 32% from the 3-point line in the win.
Nebraska now waits to see what will happen on Selection Sunday. Selection Sunday for the 2026 is Sunday, March 15, at 5 p.m. CT on CBS.
