Social media reacts to Labaron Philon's selection in 2026 NBA draft

On Tuesday night, Labaron Philon became the latest Alabama Crimson Tide basketball player drafted into the NBA.

Alabama's lone prospect available in the 2026 NBA draft, Philon heard his name called during Tuesday night's first round, coming off the board at pick No. 22 overall to the Philadelphia 76ers.

As a result, Philon becomes Alabama's first player selected in the NBA draft since both of Brandon Miller and Noah Clowney were drafted in 2023, with each first round picks that year. Philon also becomes the Alabama's fifth first round pick under head coach Nate Oats, as well as the third guard in that conversation.
