When the Alabama Crimson Tide needed a basket late Saturday night in Knoxville, Labaron Philon delivered.

After not leading the entire game, Philon knocked down a step back jumper to put Alabama ahead by two, 71-69, a basket which occurred with :24 seconds remaining. Alabama went on to hold that lead with a defensive stop on the opposite end of the floor as time expired, completing a thrilling second half comeback after the Crimson Tide trailed at halftime in Knoxville, 40-28.

With this win, not only did Alabama extend their current winning streak to eight consecutive games, but the Crimson Tide also snapped what had been a five-game losing streak against Tennessee that dated back to 2023.

Philon, who came off the bench Saturday night, finished the game with 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field, while Latrell Wrightsell Jr. led the Crimson Tide with 25 while making 6-of-9 shots from three-point range. Alabama also outscored Tennessee in the second half, 43-29, but were out-rebounded a combined 47-30 overall, as well as 25-9 on the offensive glass.

Following is a look at how social media reacted to Alabama's thrilling comeback win Saturday night in Knoxville.

Labaron Philon was GONE for the NBA.

But a last minute decision changed the fortunes of Alabama's season.

Crimson Tide are going to be a trendy pick to do damage on Selection Sunday. https://t.co/oEprfjZym7
