Jacob Misorowski's rocket right arm is so dominant these days that the Milwaukee Brewers are expected to win each time he pitches.
"Miz" did not disappoint his growing fan base Tuesday night, throwing six more turn-the-lights-out innings in a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs. The win also elevated the Brewers ahead of the Cubs in the National League Central division standings.
Misiorowski continued to baffle hitters, striking out eight hitters and elevating his league-leading total of punchouts to 88. He has 37 strikeouts over 24⅓ innings in his last four starts
All the radar gun readings and video-game numbers add up to Misirowski emerging as a Cy Young favorite in the NL
MLB and Brewers social media enthusiasts continue to show off data produced by Misiorowski's super-charged fastball:

Per @VinnyRottino on the broadcast, Misiorowski and the Brewers consider his "slider" a cutter and have added a true slider as a separate pitch. https://t.co/mjNWx7fgP0pic.twitter.com/NavKTBEEE1

At this point I'm comfortable saying that Jacob Misiorowski is doing the best pitching by a man named Jacob since at least Jacob deGrom.
